Nakko is a service that enables you to upload, edit and share your mobile stuff (like ringtones, graphics, videos and games) and download it directly to your mobile phone.
On top of that we provide you with our own stuff, produced by the absolute pro's!

First of all you have to be a member. Simply click the login button and select the join now option.
To download something, first you have to add the item you like to your personal 'locker'.
There are two ways to do this:
1. Simply drag the item to the dropbox on the right of the screen.
2. Open the item you like (by pressing the thumbnail or title) and press 'Add to my locker'.
After you have collected all the stuff you want, go to your locker and open one of the items you want to send to your phone and press 'Send to phone!'
You can then choose 'Computer' or 'SMS'.
(SMS delivery is at this point only available in the Netherlands)
Computer: download the file that fits your mobile to your computer and use bluetooth or a data cable to get it on your phone.
SMS: We will send an SMS (Wap-push) to your mobile phone that links directly to the mobile web page where you can download your item. You will be logged on automatically and from there on you can download all the other stuff in your mobile locker as well. Of course, completely free!

Your locker is your personal stash of mobile stuff. Other people can check it out too, so be careful what you mark 'public' or 'private'. Your locker is also available on your mobile phone by visiting wap.nakko.com on your mobile.
Everytime you send something to your phone, the (wap-push) SMS message logs you on to your mobile locker automatically.

By showing you ads that hopefully fit your interests. Apart from that we might give some selected advertisers the chance to send you personalised information by e-mail. That's it. Nothing more to it.

These SMS messages are called WAP-push messages and they're meant to direct you to your mobile locker.
If this doesn't work you probably haven't enabled the use of mobile internet on your phone (or you have a really really really old phone).

Yes, it is. Nakko provides a mobile content conversion and download service and it's up to you how you'll use this service.
For instance; by law, you are allowed to cut an mp3 that you bought to turn it into a ringtone that you upload to your mobile phone.
You just can't share it with the rest of the world. That is your responsability.
If you've made something yourself or copyright is simply not applicable to the item, you can share as much as you want.

No, we won't, but to keep this service free in the future, we might offer selected advertisers the opportunity to send you personalised advertorial e-mails.

No, not just anything. There are a few rules you have to keep in mind.
You have to own what you upload. This can mean that you bought it or that you have made it yourself.
Apart from that everything is allowed, as long as it is not pornographic, extremely violent or illegal in any way.
Sharing copyrighted material is at your own risk. This is why you can choose Public / Private / Visible for Friends.

You can leave a comment in the forum about this, requesting support for your specific mobile phone.

The SMS service is currently only available in The Netherlands. You can, however, use a datacable or bluetooth to send an item to your phone.
Simply click on 'Send to Phone' (green button) and select Computer.
The item that suits your phone will be downloaded to your computer.
