The Konami Code

Nerd alert!
Ever played a Konami game on a gaming console? Then you might have heard of the ‘konami code’. This is a combination of keypresses that triggers a certain cheat or easter egg inside the game.
A bunch of ‘geeks’ have used this code on their websites as well. And since we’re a bunch of geeks we could not stay behind.
How do you trigger it?
Go to nakko.com, and press:

538 ringtone site

Hi all,
A lot of news to tell these days, Barely live with Baron and we have already launched another big site.
Radio 538 by far the biggest radio channel in the Netherlands and active on mobile since many years has asked Nakko to build their mobile ringtone site.
Of course we are happy to work on such a project and after some hard work and LONG LONG working days from Henri we have launched the new radio538 ringtone site well within the tight time schedule.
For all the imode clients we have build a nice imode version, for everyone else you are welcome too.
Have a look at 538i.nakko.com.
And wouldn’t it be great if not just the mobile ringtonesite, but the entire mobile website of radio 538 would be renewed to offer a lot more interactivity?
Well, check out the blog in the next couple of weeks, perhaps there’s some news for you by then.

Baron MVNO portal

A couple of months back we launched our first ever mobile operator portal, an exciting step that has not gone without consequences.
The portal was received very well by our client as well as the consumers surfing the portal. From here I would like to thank my contacts at the other local and international operators for their compliments and envy about what we build.
Now, a couple of months ahead we are proud to say that another (virtual) operator has decided to work with Nakko .
Baron, an MVNO for small and medium business has asked Nakko to build, manage and operate their mobile portal.
We have accepted the assigment and you can see the result of our efforts on http://mmm.baron.nl

Hi Guys,
first of all, sorry for the low number of posts lately :( We’ve put a lot of effort in optimizing the site the last few months but due the enormous success of our service we (again) have to move to bigger, faster servers. This will happen somewhere this afternoon when we’re done testing the new setup.

Wall-e ringtones

And all you Nakko-heads have been downloading and uploading them a lot too!
I can understand why. I’ve only seen the trailer but it seems like a fantastic movie. I would definetely go and see it in the theatre.
Of course in the US it’s already out. In the Netherlands it will premiere July 30.
