Nakko has been developing the Spotta (TSFKAF – TheServiceFormerlyKnowAsFolders.nl) platform since 2011. Everything, from custom CMS, to conversion platform, to website, to reporting tools, to big data, to apps, to architecture, to design, to… everything and then some! More than a million downloads for the apps alone, this project has really taught us the ins and outs of how to handle a large user base.

The ConventionApp was developed for PostNL -the dutch mailservice- to enable them to present all of their leaflets and collect leads at the same time. Sales persons roam the convention floors with iPads containing the full portfolio of services. The app not only presents the leaflets in a beautiful way, but also conveniently scans business cards, mails the leaflets to the interested party and exports all collected leads to PostNL’s CRM systems.

The apps are all hooked up to the newspaper’s digital subscription backend for premium article viewing. Editors can flag articles they publish as ‘breaking news’. Push alerts are sent out to all users of the apps so they are able to follow the story as it unfolds.

To make development as convenient as possible for the client we’ve rolled these apps into one shared code-base. So any changes made are replicates along all titles. That’s what we like…. convenience, all in the best interest of the client!

This Android only secure messaging app has all the features of modern messaging apps, but has the ability to lock each component (Contacts, Chats, Attachments and Location). 

The app features single- and group-chats with lockable individual sessions and self destruct capabilities. Users can be asked to identify themselves through camera verification or secret question. The app communicates through a state-of-the-art secure middle layer to make the chats happen.

Together with Philips Lighting we bring you indoor "GPS+", which enables indoor positioning with an accuracy of up to 20 cm. To demonstrate the capabilities, Nakko developed a demo app demonstrated on the Philips Booth during the Euroshop 2017 exhibition. with the product relocation app, employees can update product location information via a simple barcode scan.

The app, the underlying platform and Philips IPS make sure that the retailer's floor plan is instantly updated. A consumer-focussed module with floor plan and location capabilities allows consumers to easily locate and find products in a store, right from the app. 

Dutch waterships have the task of managing the level of water in specific areas. They are responsible for groundwater levels, water filtration and dike maintenance.

Hoogheemraadschap de Stichtse Rijnlanden saw our UrenReg app and decided to ditch pens and paper and have us build a beautiful time-reporting app for iPad.

16 years after our cooperation with Radio 538 started with a mobile website, we can add yet another mobile project another for 538/Talpa to our list. 

Radio 10 restyled their brand and asked us to deliver a new version of theapp with different colours, less icons and an improved message screen, as well as some iOS11 updates. The Radio 10 app allows you to listen to all channels of the station with ‘The biggest hits ever’. While listening users can browse the latest news or look at the special offers the station has to offer.

Holland’s hottest morning show has it’s own app. Listen to highlights from previous shows, or listen to, or watch, the live broadcast.

Dutch radio to the MAX!

The “Vogels in Nederland” app provides a plethora of data about Dutch indigenous birds. Beautiful photography  combined with relevant data, sounds and storage of your personal observations . In-app purchases include elaborate determining tools allowing a user to find out which bird they've spotted.

Birdwatchers, twitchers, really anyone can train their knowledge of birdsounds. Over 200 birdsounds rolled into a fun game. Challenge your friends through Game Center or buy any birdsound as an in-app purchase to be used as a ringtone on your iPhone.

Vogel het uit! is an award winning project from the university of Amsterdam. The apps and website enable the researchers to crowd source answers to questions they have about the birds they track. This idea won the Dutch academic year prize in 2013.

Ten different species have been outfitted with GPS-backpacks to track their migratory and behavioural patterns. When a researcher has a question about a certain section of a trip, he or she can post this question to the users of the app. They go to this specific location and answer questions the researcher has posted in the app. For the last kilometer of the trip the user can use a special VR view we built. It overlays the bird’s flight-pattern in 3d over the camerascreen.

If you’re into birds, definitely get this app. It is so cool!

For innovative garbage disposal company Meerlanden we created - and deliver technical maintenance of - their website: performing updates and improvements to the site. Next to information, site visitors can use interactive elements such as the disposal calendar, how garbage is collected based on where they live and tips and ideas.
